Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who made it big in Telugu film industry with her debut film ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ will soon be making her B-town debut if all goes well. Director Rohit Shetty is in plans to cast her for his upcoming Bol Bachchan with Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan.

Samantha is right now busy in Tollywood with Dookudu and Eega and has many big films in her kitty. She had recently signed another film with her mentor Gautham Vasudev Menon, who had directed her breakthrough film.

Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming film Dookudu in the direction Srinu Vytla is progressing at brisk pace in Hyderabad. Currently, action scenes are being canned in Chiran Fort in Hyderabad. As per the latest buzz, the film has got a new tagline ‘Daring and Dashing’. Mahesh will be seen as police informer in the film.

Samantha is playing Mahesh’s love interest in the movie. Srinu Vytla has directed the film and Achanta Ram, Achanta Gopichand and Anil Sunkara are producing the movie under the banner of 14 Reels Entertainments. Thaman is composing the tunes.

Shruti Haasan in Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh

One of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming films Gabbar Singh gets a heroine. Shruti Haasan has been finalized as the female lead in it. First they considered Kajal’s name but she couldn’t adjust her dates as per Gabbar Singh’s schedules. Hence, Shruti got an opportunity to romance Pawan.

Ram’s next movie to go to sets after Kandireega is directed by Karunakaran. This movie is a romantic entertainer with Karunakaran’s stamp all over it. Tamanna is roped in as the heroine in this film.

This film is tentatively titled Endukante (Why means). Earlier this film was rumored to be titled as Edure Ledu and Mana Love story. But Karunakaran is inclined towards naming it Endukante as it suits the theme well.

Shankar is like Spielberg, says Vijay

Say director Shankar, Vijay goes in all smiles. He is all impressed with Shankar working in Nanban, a remake of Three idiots.
Says the actor, 'Shankar can be called India's Spielberg. I've always wished to be part of a film that he's directing-but have got an opportunity only now. It's very comfortable to work with him-he deals with artistes better than others. I am sure Nanban is going to be a big film in my career'.

As per the gossip winery, Ram Gopal Varma is planning to make a film titled Shivudu with Ram Charan in the lead. Rajinikanth says Rana is on

If there are any doubts whatsoever on Rajinikanth starring in Rana movie, they were all dismissed by the superstar in his handwritten letter to his fans. Rajini stated that he will entertain his fans as long as he can. “I will soon start shooting for Rana,” is the promise made by him in this letter.

Rajinikanth was discharged from the hospital and has moved to a luxury apartment in an up market Singapore area. Rajini will be staying there until he feels he is completely fit. Right now he is taking maximum rest as per doctors advice.

This news has brought tears of joy to millions of Rajinikanth fans. They have been doing homams, pujas and fasts for the last few weeks for Rajini’s good health. Rajini said that it is their love which helped him to recover quickly.

Mahesh Babu in Maniratnam’s next Film?
